Losing a loved one is hard, but NAPSA helps to ease the burden of loss with its Funeral Grant. This benefit is paid to the family of the deceased NAPSA member or pensioner. It gives families immediate financial relief following the death of the member. It’s a safety net every Zambian worker or income earner deserves.
Who qualifies for the Funeral Grant?
The deceased must have made at least 12 monthly contributions during the last 36 months of their life.
– If the deceased was already a retirement or invalidity pensioner, the funeral grant is paid regardless of number of contributions.
When is Funeral Grant paid?
The Funeral Grant is paid after the member passes on. The family can get the money during the funeral period, or after.
What documents are required to claim Funeral Grant?
– The deceased’s Death Certificate
– National Registration Card (NRC) of the deceased
– NRC of the claimant
– Proof of relationship or authority to claim (e.g. affidavit or letter from a local authority)
Your consistent contributions protect you and your family, both now and in the future.
Keep your NAPSA account details up to date.
Be smart, secure your future.
